A California district legal professional declined to file costs Tuesday towards former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson after he was recorded on video in a bodily altercation with another passenger on a JetBlue flight.

San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe made the decision after having reviewed police reports and movies of the April 20 incident. Each the passenger, who has not been recognized, and Tyson requested that no charges be filed.

"Yesterday afternoon the San Mateo County District Legal professional’s Workplace concluded its assessment of the case involving Mike Tyson at the San Francisco Airport on April 20, 2022 and the allegation that he committed a misdemeanor battery towards one other passenger on an airplane while waiting on the terminal previous to departure," Wagstaffe said in an announcement.
