Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance throughout the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles in the automobile. Both had been taken to a hospital and are now in secure situation, officers stated. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
