Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete safety barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Each were taken to a hospital and are now in stable condition, officers mentioned. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
