A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news launch from the park.
The woman approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Old Devoted geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison reside on the park, they usually have injured more individuals than every other animal, the park stated.
When the customer came inside 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes in the air, the park said.
The woman had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different people have been additionally near the animal when it gored the girl, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say if they were injured.
The park warned folks to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
