Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made an impassioned plea to take stronger action towards gun violence in the US.Kerr refused to talk about basketball ahead of Recreation 4 of the Warriors' series towards the Dallas Mavericks, instead raising his voice as he railed in opposition to gun violence in the wake of Tuesday's capturing.
"In the last 10 days, we have had aged Black individuals killed in a grocery store in Buffalo, we have had Asian churchgoers killed in Southern California, now we now have children murdered in school," Kerr advised reporters at the start of the press conference.
"When are we going to do something? I am drained. I am so tired of getting up right here and providing condolences to the devastated families which can be out there ... I'm tired of the moments of silence. Sufficient."
