BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of signs saying "faculty shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple expenses.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Department of Security said, but they determined there is no credible threat presently.

The security department launched a photo of the plate but blurred part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of legal threatening and three misdemeanor charges including false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No different suspects have been charged right now.
