The family of an 11-year-old lady who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed through the taking pictures.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law called me and he or she was just crying, like 'I think it just hit Miah. I believe every part came to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her associates and classmates had been additionally targeted.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah bought some blood and put it on herself so she could pretend she was useless," said Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene time and again, but that's what my sister-in-law mentioned is that she saw her friend stuffed with blood and she or he bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been released.
