Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Huge Macs day-after-day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Huge Mac streak began on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I rely every Big Mac. I’ve counted each Massive Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by means of life right here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Big Macs.’ I guess I proved them flawed,” he said.

His son is just not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had comfortable meals. I always beloved my hen nuggets, and my brother at all times liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an everyday life kind of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has more of a varied weight loss plan.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets day-after-day. I used to eat cheeseburgers on daily basis, however finally you simply get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, but he actually does,” he stated.

Gorske says he'll proceed consuming Large Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side until he dies.
