Uvalde police, school district not cooperating with Texas probe of taking pictures: Sources

The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District police drive are no longer cooperating with the Texas Division of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School and the state's evaluate of the regulation enforcement response, multiple law enforcement sources inform ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Impartial College District didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from ABC Information.

In response to sources, the choice to stop cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news convention Friday throughout which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the improper resolution" and opposite to protocol.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Division of Public Security mentioned, "The Uvalde Police Division and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police supplied an initial interview however has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days in the past."

Last Tuesday's attack, one of many worst college shootings in U.S. history, left 19 kids and two adults dead.
