Nashville Public Library launches ‘Freedom to Learn’ marketing campaign

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It's a matter that's taken hold in Tennessee: books like "Maus" or "Stroll Two Moons" have been pulled from cabinets.

Whereas those books could be banned from some schools, there is nonetheless somewhere else you will discover them.

The goal is to get the 5,000 library playing cards within the arms of recent sign-ups this month.

"We are not trying to be a push again — a power pushing back towards these selections — we want to be an alternative choice to say, for those who might not have the ability to get it there... you can get it here," stated Brown.
