Speaking in the dugout of the Nice American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kapler said, "I don't plan on coming out for the anthem going ahead until I really feel higher about the course of our country."

In a blog publish, Kapler questioned whether or not the nation's leadership is dedicated to representing its folks's finest pursuits and whether or not the USA is really "the land of the free and the house of the brave."

"We weren't given bravery, and we aren't free. The police on the scene put a mother in handcuffs as she begged them to go in and save her youngsters. Later, Kapler wrote about his disillusionment with what he referred to as "the shortage of supply of the promise of what our nationwide anthem represents."

"I am not okay with the state of this country. I wish I hadn't let my discomfort compromise my integrity. I want that I might have demonstrated what I realized from my dad, that once you're dissatisfied with your country, you let it's identified by way of protest. Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made an impassioned plea to take stronger action against gun violence in the United States.

Kerr refused to talk about basketball ahead of Game 4 of the Warriors' collection against the Dallas Mavericks, instead raising his voice as he railed in opposition to gun violence within the wake of Tuesday's taking pictures.

"Within the final 10 days, we have had aged Black people killed in a supermarket in Buffalo, we've had Asian churchgoers killed in Southern California, now we have youngsters murdered at school," Kerr advised reporters initially of the press conference.

"When are we going to do one thing? I'm drained. I am so tired of getting up here and providing condolences to the devastated families which are out there ... I'm bored with the moments of silence. Enough."
