Household of Abducted Lady Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old girl from North Richland Hills is now dwelling after being abducted by a person at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks recreation at American Airways Heart. But the household still seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not appearing swiftly enough concerning the crime, which had the girl as part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone lacking a total of 11 days,” lawyer Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that way (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for their negligence and different causes of motion.''

Fortenberry said the teen’s father informed police on the game when he realized she was lacking. However, in keeping with the legal professional, the daddy was advised to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police said they weren’t capable of assist as a result of the incident occurred in Dallas.

The lawyer stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that labored to find the lacking lady, who was being held in an Oklahoma City motel.

Dallas Police advised WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD in the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was found, the team releasing the following assertion: “The American Airways Heart (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Each entities will proceed to cooperate with local and regional law enforcement on this case.''
