Update 9:25 p.m. EDT May 9: Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Marriage ceremony confirmed Vicky White’s death to The Related Press simply after 9 p.m. EDT Monday. According to WAAY-TV, the fugitives had been captured after a pursuit ended when the vehicle they have been driving crashed.

Casey White surrendered to police following the crash.

Evansville is about 175 miles north of Williamson County, Tennessee, where authorities on Thursday discovered the orange 2007 Ford Edge the pair used in their April 29 escape, the news outlet reported.
