Apple has discontinued the iPod, 20 years after it was launched.
The US tech large mentioned its iconic music participant has been changed by other devices, making the iPod redundant.
Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior vice-president of worldwide advertising, said: "Today, the spirit of iPod lives on.
"We have integrated an unimaginable music experience throughout all of our products, from the iPhone to the Apple Watch to HomePod mini, and across Mac, iPad, and Apple TV.
"And Apple Music delivers industry-leading sound high quality with help for spatial audio - there is not any better technique to enjoy, uncover, and expertise music."
In October 2001, Steve Jobs debuted the unique iPod and it was the first MP3 player that would maintain 1,000 songs and had a 10-hour battery life.
"With iPod, Apple has invented an entire new class of digital music player that lets you put your complete music assortment in your pocket and take heed to it wherever you go," he mentioned on the time.
